Oxford Persian Institute provides academic services for those who are interested in Persian language and Iranian studies.
The initial inspiration for OXPE came during exchange visits of faculty members of the University of Tehran and Oxford University. In 2013, after receiving consultation from Oxford University academics in the field of Persian and Iranian studies, Oxford Persian Institute was established. OXPE aims to help both sides to discover and benefit from opportunities for development and growth.
Based in Oxford, UK, the goal of Oxford Persian Institute is facilitating learning opportunities, academic exchange and research access for British scholars in the field of Persian and Iranian studies.
Iranian studies are now covering a diverse range from Iranian history and Persian literature to social and economic studies. While many colleges at Oxford University offer Persian studies programmes, Oxford Persian Institute operates to fill the research and learning gap by Providing learning opportunities through academic and cultural exchange for those who are interested in Iran and the Persian culture.
OXPE also provides UK learning opportunities for Iranian nationals, and opportunities for art and cultural exchange between Iran and the UK.
In OXPE we are constantly developing our services to be able to meet the requirements of students and researchers. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any service which is not listed in our regular services.
